How LolliLabz collects, uses, protects and shares personal information.

Last Updated: 19 July 2026

Our approach

LolliLabz respects your privacy and aims to handle personal information responsibly. This policy explains the information we collect through our website, store, enquiries and order fulfilment. Where the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles apply to us, we will comply with those requirements.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order information, customer account details, enquiry information, personalisation choices, uploaded reference files and communications with us.

For products such as Glow Frames, we may collect photographs you upload. We may also receive website technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, pages visited, strictly necessary cookie identifiers and basic website activity. Payment providers process payment information. LolliLabz does not directly store complete payment card numbers.

Why we use information

We use personal information to provide quotes, process and personalise orders through WordPress and WooCommerce, take payment, deliver products, provide customer service, manage accounts, prevent fraud, maintain cart and login functions, improve our website, meet legal obligations and protect our business and customers.

We use uploaded photographs and reference files to assess, create, fulfil and support personalised orders. We will not use them for another purpose, such as marketing, unless you separately give us permission.

Sharing information

We may share only the information reasonably needed with service providers that help us operate, including WordPress and WooCommerce hosting, payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal when enabled, delivery carriers, email services, website security, backups and professional advisers.

Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Their privacy terms and the countries involved can change. We select reputable providers and take reasonable steps appropriate to our business, but overseas recipients may be subject to different privacy laws.

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, to address suspected fraud or security issues, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell customer personal information.

Cookies and future analytics

WordPress and WooCommerce may use cookies or similar browser storage that are required for the cart, checkout, login, security and site functions. LolliLabz does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies or Meta Pixel. If optional analytics or advertising tools are enabled later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before they are used.

Storage, security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Customer photos uploaded for personalised products are used only to prepare, produce and support the relevant order. Access is limited to authorised LolliLabz personnel and service providers where necessary to operate the store. We retain uploaded photos only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the order, provide customer support, meet legal or record-keeping obligations, and complete secure backup retention cycles. When the files are no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify them.

Access, correction and choices

You may ask what personal information we hold about you or request a correction by emailing hello@lollilabz.com.au. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link provided or by contacting us. Transactional order and service messages may still be sent.

Privacy questions and complaints

Use the Contact page or email hello@lollilabz.com.au with a privacy question, access or correction request, or complaint. Please provide enough detail for us to investigate. We will respond within a reasonable time. If the Privacy Act applies and you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and its Last Updated date will be published on this page.
